Reap - Family Office is a financial consulting company that incorporates the concept of a family office.
Reap - Family Office was established in 2010 and is registered (nº 346) and supervised by the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM).
The co-founders of Reap - Family Office have an extensive professional experience, with 20 years of activity in the national and international banking sector, and in particular in financial markets.
A family office is a private non-financial company that manages portfolios for a small number (sometimes only one) of high net worth families.
A family office's reason for being lies in the extremely close relationship with its clients and on the commitment to find the solutions best suitable for them.

Reap - Family Office provides a global comprehensive advice service on the conduct of the investment policy of each family's financial assets:
- Evaluation of needs and investment objectives of the client;
- Evaluation of the current position of client's financial assets;
- Continuous monitoring and periodic suggestions of possible changes, according to the evolution of financial markets;
- Evaluation and interpretation of investment proposals from financial institutions and asset managers;
- Periodic report of the consolidated assets under advice.
Reap - Family Office will NOT :
- Use its own discretion to manage the assets of its customers - the client maintains the relationships he considers necessary with the banks and other financial intermediaries he works with;
- Execute investment transactions on behalf of clients - the buy and sell orders of any security or currency is always given by the client to the financial intermediary he chooses; or
- Provide services of custody of securities or monies - Reap - Family Office is not entitled nor equipped to do this. All assets belonging to the clients will be held and registered by the financial intermediaries chosen by the client and who are legally entitled to do so.
The management of a family estate requires the input of different areas of expertise, aside from the financial advisory.
Reap - Family Office wants its clients to be able to benefit from the best possible services in these areas and, as such, has established a set of partnerships with renowned expert entities.
Our partners are dedicated to provide services in legal and tax matters, accounting, insurance, real estate and art markets.
- Assignment of a Financial Advisor, who will be the personal contact of the client at Reap - Family Office.
- Signing of an Advisory Contract between the two parts (contract under registration with CMVM).
- Gathering of the client's financial information relevant to the provision of the advisory service:
- Client profile (updated annually or whenever a significant change of financial situation occurs)
- Financial information from financial intermediaries (updated periodically)
- Provision of the advice service and follow-up.
